Constitutional Ban on Sharia Law’s Author Running Against INDN DA in Oklahoma

What do you do when your candidate for District Attorney is a career politician who has no experience whatsoever in prosecuting crimes or even taking a case to a jury trial?  Well, if you’re the Republicans, you start talking about Sharia Law!

That’s right, Rex Duncan, who is running against INDN’s List endorsed candidate Jeff Jones, was the primary author of the legislation to place a constitutional ban on using Sharia Law on the Oklahoma ballot.  As this article points out, this is clearly a scare tactic to bring more Republican voters to the polls.  Even more disturbing, Duncan has made the Sharia Law leglislation his campaign’s central message, in an attempt to scare voters into supporting him.

Jeff Jones has spent the past seven years in the District Attorney’s office and now serves as the First Assistant District Attorney.  Jeff is a career prosecutor, not a politician, and has the experience and judgment to walk into the job and prosecute criminals on day one.  Jeff Jones is the only candidate who has a firm understanding and respect of the US Constitution and Oklahoma Law and how they apply to putting dangerous criminals behind bars.
