For the 2007 election cycle, each of our two Endorsed Candidates won their races. The following were our victorious candidates:

Bob Kelly

WINNER: Kelly 51.27%, Hatch 48.73%

A Nooksack tribal member and the tribe’s Natural Resources Director for the past 10 years, Bob Kelly is a committed father and community leader that will serve well the families of Whatcom County.

Steve Oliver

in Won, 2007

County Treasurer

Whatcom County, Washington

WINNER: Oliver 65.7%, Elenbaas 34.3%

With nearly a decade in the treasurer’s office and the endorsements of the state treasurer and more than 30 county treasurers statewide, a lifetime of public and community service, and a proven record of leadership, Lummi tribal member Steve Oliver is the man to lead as Whatcom County Treasurer.
